[!important] 🎯 The 60-mark core Accountancy (30) + J&K GK (30) = 60 of 120 marks. These two decide your selection. Everything else is the margin. Realistic target: 24+/30 Accountancy · 22+/30 GK · 30+/60 across the six 10-mark sections → ≈ 76–80/120, which historically clears comfortably.

- Money Measurement concept → human resources excluded from Balance Sheet (2022·Q105 ≡ 2024·Q36 ≡ MCQ Q39)
- PFMS was earlier CPSMS (Q86 ≡ Q42)
- Bank pass book = copy of the customer's account in the bank's ledger (Q93 ≡ Q49)
- Statement of affairs = balance sheet from incomplete records (Q107 ≡ Q43)

- Re-read only the chapters your errors cluster in

- Short notes for all 27 chapters (they exist for Ch 1–6; build the rest as you go)
- The four repeated questions + all flagged answer-key errors

- Last 2 days: formulas + one-liners only. Sleep properly.

[!warning] The paper changed character between 2022 and 2024 2022 = fundamentals (Ch 2 + 5 + Final Accounts = 18/30). 2024 = applied finance (Taxation 5 + BRS 4 + Costing 3 = 12/30) — Ch 5 and Final Accounts vanished completely. Do not bet on one shape. Cover both: the steady chapters (BRS, Partnership, Single Entry, PFMS, Concepts, Equation, Audit) are your floor; the volatile ones (Ch 5, Final Accounts) are your upside.

✍️ English (10)
Vocabulary is the hard part (~38 of 155 PYQs) — build a word list from the bank. Articles (14) and Prepositions (14) are the reliable scorers — learn fixed collocations: aversion to, adept at, accused of, keen on, proficient in, acquitted of, charged with, sentenced to.
💻 Computers (10)
MS Office (15 PYQs) + Fundamentals (12) dominate. Free marks: = starts an Excel formula · F5 = slideshow · Mail Merge · Section breaks · BIOS · SSD fastest · MICR · Plotter · Android open-source · POP3 · DNS→HTTP.
🔬 Science (10) · 📈 Economics (10) · 📊 Statistics (10) · ➗ Maths (10)
- Science: metals & reactivity (11 PYQs) is the densest; then life processes, ecology. Liquid non-metal = Bromine was asked twice.
- Economics: demand/supply, national income, fiscal vs monetary policy, RBI, money vs capital market.
- Statistics: mean/median/mode (Mode = 3Median − 2Mean), probability, index numbers, primary vs secondary data.
- Maths: SI/CI, ratio, percentage, permutations, sets. Lowest marks-per-hour — attempt last in the exam too.
PART E — 🔮 PREDICTION: what to expect on 15 Nov 2026
🚨 #1 prediction — the Income Tax Act, 2025
[!danger] This is the biggest single change since your notes were written The Income-tax Act, 2025 replaced the 1961 Act with effect from 1 April 2026 — before your exam. Your Ch 23 notes and MCQs Q501–550 are written on the old Act and reference AY 2020-21 / 2021-22.
What changed — learn this cold:
Old (1961 Act) New (2025 Act) Previous Year + Assessment Year ⭐ "TAX YEAR" (1 April – 31 March) replaces Previous Year 298 sections, 14 schedules 536 sections, 23 chapters In force 1962–2026 (65 years) In force from 1 April 2026 — Simplified language; tax rates unchanged Expect at least one question on: the new Act's name/year, the "tax year" concept, when it came into force, or number of sections/chapters. ⚠️ MCQ Q505 ("Assessment year means 12 months from 1 April…") and Q506 ("Previous Year for AY 2021-22") are now outdated framing — know the concept, but expect the new terminology.

J&K schemes have been asked in every paper (MUMKIN, JKREGP, ODOP). VB-G RAM-G and Muhafiz are my top two picks.

📌 #6 — Answer-pattern edge (last resort only)
From all 760 answers across 7 papers: C is the most common (28.3%), D the rarest (20.8%).
- Match-the-following → C or D 71% of the time; B only 11.5%
- "All of the above" is correct only 23%; "None of the above" only 7%
⚠️ With −0.25 marking the break-even is exactly 25%, so C's 28% barely clears it. Use this only on a genuine 50/50 you cannot reason out. Full detail: Answer-Key-Pattern-Analysis.

Error log: keep one page per section. Every wrong answer gets one line — question → correct answer → chapter. In Week 11 this page is your syllabus.

Plus the author's own corrigendum: Purchases & Sales = NOMINAL accounts (p.26), and "Cash memo received from seller" = EXTERNAL voucher (p.29).
✅ The four "missing" topics are now COVERED
They were absent from the book, so I added sourced addenda to the relevant chapters:

These four gaps cost 4 marks in 2024 (Q48, Q53, Q56, Q57) plus Q97. Nothing in the syllabus is now uncovered.
PART G — Exam-day strategy
120 questions in 120 minutes = 1 minute each. But not all marks cost the same.

Negative marking maths: at −0.25, a blind 4-option guess breaks even at 25%. So —
- ✅ Attempt if you can eliminate even one option (33% → positive expected value)
- ❌ Leave blank if you cannot eliminate anything
- ✅ Always attempt statement-based questions where you're sure of one statement — it usually kills two options
Target: ~100 attempts with ~80% accuracy ≈ 80 − 5 = 75+ marks.
